SharkPOD- Sharks have specialized organs (ampullae of Lorenzini) which can sense the minute electrical fields generated by all marine animals and which assist in the detection of prey. This sensitivity to electrical fields is the key to the development of a successful electrical repellent called the SharkPOD (Protective Oceanic Device).
