Great Lakes Shipwreck File- This document is the most complete and accurate list of losses of Great Lakes commercial vessels in existence, but it may be considered to be a work in progress, since my research continues. It includes commercial vessels which were total losses or were declared total losses and later recovered, plus a few wrecks which were significant for other reasons (e.g. loss of life), but were later recovered. I am happy to share this with any and all interested parties.pop

Bob Hampton- I am not a professional scuba diver, a professional photographer, or a shipwreck expert. I'm just a subsurface tourist who has had the good fortune to have experienced a large assortment of these wonderous relics in various parts of the world. I present here some of the best of my collection of photographs of these wrecks, along with some stories about my dives on them. These are some of my memories of "my" shipwrecks, as they were when I was there, as they will always be for me.

California Wreck Divers- To most people, "wreck diving" brings visions of Spanish gold among piles of coral encrusted cannon. In Southern California we have a vast shortage of Spanish gold, coral, and cannon, but we do have some exciting and varied wreck diving. Our local shipwrecks run the gamut from modern freighters and fishing boats, to majestic square-riggers and side-wheel steamers. Water conditions on the wrecks range from protected areas to white-water diving with a heavy surge.
